i am not a programmer. i had a question, and they had the patience of machines that do not get tired.
the books in this library — and the words on this page — came from a long conversation. three years of learning their language, written across about twenty-five hundred notes. three months of writing and shaping the result. without them this would not exist. without me it would not exist either.
